Kate's most recent book, authored with Eddie Erlandson, MD, and published by Harvard Business School Press, is titled Alpha Male Syndrome. An in-depth follow-up to their well-regarded Harvard Business Review article Coaching the Alpha Male, Alpha Male Syndrome chronicles the brilliant, the bad, and the ugly side of male, and sometimes female "alpha" types.  Alpha Male Syndrome comes to market with significant critical acclaim including reviews and feature stories in The Financial Times of London, The New York Times, Time Magazine and the LA Times

 

Kate has also authored or co-authored, Radical Change, Radical Results; The Worth Ethic, Earn What You're Worth, and The Corporate Mystic, currently in its 11th printing. 

 

Kate was recognized as the featured speaker at Fortune magazine's Summit of the Best and Most Admired Companies - 1999, and was honored by Executive Women International with the Ma Ferguson Award for Excellence in Business.  Under her leadership, Worth Ethic was named to Inc. magazine's List of 500 Fastest Growing Companies.  Kate wrote and produced Emmy-nominated, "Work-Wise," a weekly TV column out of San Francisco, and has appeared on more than 100 television and radio programs including a year-long segment of "Good Morning, Dallas."

Jill joined Worth Ethic in 2004. She has created a results-oriented coaching practice working with executives in major corporations and nonprofits.

Jill focuses on interviewing and coaching executives for 360 assessments and leadership development programs. She also trains business teams to improve their communications, align on their mission and objectives, and to reduce the passive aggressive behaviors that lead to low accountability.

Jill also works with several non-profit organizations, including the Citizens Commission on Human Rights and the Gold Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She works with these organizations to improve their performance and grow their organizations by a combination of developing a more focused strategy and broadening their communications.

Prior to Worth Ethic, Jill started and ran a successful coaching practice in Greensboro, North Carolina and San Diego, California. Trained by the International Coaching Society, Jill created a coaching practice working with business managers, entrepreneurs, attorneys and other professionals.  In addition to one-on-one coaching, Jill has also worked with groups of business leaders who were interested in expanding their career success while also meeting life balance objectives to create more time for their families.

Jill has a BA in Economics and Spanish from Marshall University in conjunction with Oxford University and Exeter College, and an MS in Social Work from the University of Tennessee.

With a unique background as a 25-year vascular surgeon and former hospital chief of staff, and as a founder of a respected wellness program, Eddie Erlandson, senior vice president of Worth Ethic, uses his education and understanding for the science of stress and change to transform entrenched leadership style habits that inhibit teamwork, innovation and problem solving.

 

Eddie draws on a vast knowledge of the physiological aspects of change, challenging thousands of executives to address leadership risks, spawning executive effectiveness and high-performance organizational growth. Through the technique of Resets, Eddie helps individuals modulate their own physiology for enhanced and sustained impact as leaders.

 

As a former surgeon and healthcare executive, executive coach and author, Eddie is a memorable and popular keynote speaker, leadership coach and facilitator for effective and collaborative team building functions.  Executive teams across industries as various as high-tech, pharmaceutical, hospitals, services, government and sports, have benefited from Eddie's contribution and approach to the Worth Ethic executive development philosophy.

 

Eddie, with Kate Ludeman, is the co-author of the book Alpha Male Syndrome, recently published by Harvard Business School Press. 

The book follows the well-regarded Harvard Business Review May 2004 article,  Coaching the Alpha Male, also authored by the pair. 

Alpha Male Syndrome is Eddie's second book with Ms. Ludeman.  The first, Radical Change, Radical Results was published in May 2003.

 

A self-described alpha male, Eddie has competed in 25 triathlons, 45 marathons and three ultra 100-mile marathons.

Jody provides clients with practical tools that assist them in transforming their careers and their lives. Jody delivers keynote speeches and also coaches people on executive presence, goal setting, personal accountability and generating results. She leads workshops on redirecting energy to create a positive impact, and helps others to achieve a vital balance between work and personal life.

 

Clients report that Jody's style allows them to shift into curiosity and to create a relaxed, reflective coaching relationship. Her unique combination of calmness and laser-like focus assist clients to zero in on strengths and capitalize on them. She is equally effective in helping clients identify development areas, setting goals for change, and following up to ensure that visible change occurs.

Jody is a former international bank vice president, and she also worked for 10 years at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, an intergovernmental organization with 2,000 employees and 30 member governments. She organized numerous international forums, and also was the point person for human resources in a major department.

 

Jody has a BS in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and is a certified coach. She currently lives in Santa Cruz, California and is in the process of moving to Austin, Texas. She is bi-lingual and works both in English and French.
